The Power of Saying “Yes”

Who would think how much power one small, three-letter word can impart…

Mary’s fiat. Need I say more?

It is because of her “yes” the doors of heaven were once again opened. She didn’t know what would happen but because of her faith and absolute trust in God she was able to confidently say, “I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be to me according to your Word” (Luke 1:38). Simply, “yes.”

In my previous campaign in 2020, I was interviewed by a national media group. One of the questions asked was “What do you think made things move so quickly?” The simple answer I gave was, “I said YES.” I believe once I said “yes” to this spiritual prodding the graces poured forth. Is it what I expected? Not really but came they did. It makes one start to wonder what may happen when one says yes.

Now I’m asking each of you a question? Will you join this campaign with me and help pray for our Bishop and for those in future prayer campaigns? I will not say this will be easy… it won’t be. Many of you may be unsure how you will be able to keep your commitment. Some of you may be excited to start but then quickly fade. Many may just be afraid to commit because, once you commit, you know this isn’t just a commitment to this campaign. It’s a commitment to Him.

If anyone who reads this is unsure, please know I already have you in my thoughts and prayers. Why? Because I need you. My hand is outstretched. Just grab hold.

God Bless. ~Robert
